About
James Londrigan
Howdy! I'm James Londrigan and I hail from a town just outside of Houston, Texas called Crosby. I grew up playing sports all through high school but my favorite one was baseball. I still watch all different kinds of sports, root for the Astros against all reason, and I still maintain that no rivalry compares to Aggies vs Longhorns.
My dad worked in operational technology and I think that's where my interest in IT started. I came to Texas A&M unsure of what path I wanted to take. I took ISTM 310 focused on networking and thought that was the path, but then the more I learned about cloud, the more it pulled me up the stack.
Being an Aggie has done more for me than I can truly say. The obvious things are the visible ones — the ring, the traditions, the network. The part that's mattered most is the identity that doesn't come off when you graduate. I came in eighteen and not sure of much or of myself. I'm leaving with a Master's, a few certs, and a much clearer sense of who I am and what I want to do.
Day to day: a year into the MS-MIS program at Mays, graduating December 2026, and chasing what cloud and AI can do for the businesses (and the people) on the receiving end of them. AWS certified three times over with Cloud Practitioner, AI Practitioner, and Solutions Architect Associate certs. I'm looking to expand this knowledge into Azure but that is still a work in progress. Most of the technical detail lives in the projects.
Outside of all that: at the gym most days trying to get stronger, I was deep in the Red Rising saga but need to finish the series still, and convinced my dog Houdini was named appropriately because he is a slippery little guy.
