About

James Londrigan

I grew up watching my dad work in operational technology — the unglamorous, mission-critical layer that keeps physical systems running — and that's where the interest started. I came to Texas A&M thinking I'd do networking. I took ISTM 310, was sure that was the path, and then the more I learned about cloud, the more it pulled me up the stack.

These days I'm a year into the MS-MIS program at Mays (graduating December 2026), working as a Business Development Program Aide at AgriLife CMTS, and chasing what cloud and AI can do for the businesses (and the people) on the receiving end of them. Three AWS certs in — Cloud Practitioner, AI Practitioner, and Solutions Architect Associate. Third place in the ISTM 320 CMIS Case Competition for an AI-driven IT strategy. Built the event service for the multi-team CMIS Engagement Platform on AWS serverless — that's its own case study. Most recently rebuilt this site you're reading from Astro through Terraform to GitHub Actions, because if I'm going to talk about cloud, the cloud I built should be visible.

The most interesting work in IT right now sits between cloud architecture and AI — specifically the part where these tools have to fit the messy reality of how a business actually operates, not the demo-day version. That overlap is where I want to spend the next few years.

Outside of school and work: deep in the Red Rising saga (currently on Iron Gold), studying for my next cert, and probably overthinking my Terraform module structure.
